Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or Engineer, ideally within a tech-forward or start-up environment.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating user-centric design thinking, interaction design, and visual design skills.
- Experience with tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Familiarity with AR/VR platforms and mobile-first design principles is highly desirable.
- A solid understanding of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate effectively with developers.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach.
Responsibilities
- Leading UI/UX design for mobile and AR applications from concept through to implementation.
- Creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
- Collaborating with the development team to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality.
- Conducting user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate designs.
- Advocating for user-centred design principles throughout the product development lifecycle.

Offering a salary range of £55,000 to £65,000, we provide an exciting opportunity for a passionate UI/UX Engineer to join our mission-led team. This remote role may require occasional travel to Southampton. Our company is currently in a critical growth phase, building a talented core team to transform cutting-edge concepts into scalable, impactful products.
