Requirements
Must:
- In depth experience of modern data solution architecture design and delivery in a hybrid cloud environment, predominantly Azure / Databricks
- Ability to lead a small team while contributing personally
- Proficiency in driving agile, modern engineering practices
- Strong commitment to quality, observability, and good engineering discipline, ensuring pipeline and models run cleanly and predictably
Responsibilities
- Play a proactive role in the delivery of next-generation data platforms
- Manage and mentor existing team members
- Drive the design, development, and governance of data pipelines
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the technology function and within the business
- Ensure the availability, integrity, and compliance of systems
- Own the core architecture and engineering across the new Azure Databricks ecosystem
- Incorporate AI and ML capabilities into the data solutions
- Work with a 3rd Party Data Partner to select, implement, and manage technology improvements
