Requirements
Must:
- Hands-on Azure integration tooling experience (e.g. Logic Apps, Azure Functions)
- Experience integrating business systems using Azure services
- Identity integration using Azure Entra ID
- Strong understanding of APIs, data flow, and system interoperability
- Experience owning integrations beyond initial deployment
- Delivering automation that reduced manual processing (desirable)
- Designing secure APIs or middleware (desirable)
- Integrating complex SaaS platforms (HR, ERP, operational systems) (desirable)
- Awareness or exposure to AI-driven automation or agent-based solutions (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and support integrations across HR, commercial, and operational platforms
- Ensure reliable data flow between systems
- Design integrations with clear error handling, resilience, and recovery mechanisms
- Use Azure integration services to build scalable, secure solutions
- Manage identity and access integration using Azure Entra ID
- Modernise and replace outdated automation processes
- Deliver workflow and scripting automation to reduce manual processing
- Design secure APIs or middleware to enable interoperability between systems
- Work alongside Business Analysts to translate requirements into robust technical solutions
- Act as the technical owner for integrations, providing ongoing optimisation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement
- Support Azure platform governance, configuration, and security best practices
Description
We are looking for a Cloud Integration Engineer to join our team in Chorley, working onsite three days a week. Our organization is at an exciting stage of digital maturity, with core systems in place across HR, Commercial, and Operational teams. This role will focus on leading the evolution of our integration initiatives, ensuring that our systems communicate seamlessly and automation replaces manual processes. Joining our team means being part of a collaborative environment where youll report to the Technology leadership team and work closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, and Support. We offer a competitive salary between £50,000 to £60,000 and the opportunity to contribute to future intelligent solutions such as AI-driven automation.
