Network Engineer

As our Firewall Engineer, I expect you to: - Establish and maintain network performance. - Plan, design, and manage infrastructure and technologies that support corporate and datacentre environments at an enterprise level for Cisco & HP network devices and firewalls. - Troubleshoot network problems effectively. - Document both existing and new solutions during implementation, managing change within our environment. - Create patching and upgrade schedules for all network devices, including load balancers, switches, and firewalls. - Collaborate with infrastructure architects on best practices and design strategies. - Secure our network by establishing and enforcing policies, as well as defining and monitoring access. - Manage and lead projects assigned to you, working closely with the Head of Infrastructure and Project Managers to ensure successful and professional project completion. - Ensure system performance and SLAs are met. - Travel occasionally between our offices and datacentres as required.
