Requirements
Must:
- Relevant experience in an IT role with proven experience of setting up and managing software and hardware within an organization
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of security compliance in relation to VPNs and networks
- Full and clean UK Driving Licence
- IT support experience of at least 3 years
- VPN experience of at least 3 years
- Computer networking experience of at least 3 years
Responsibilities
- Setting up and supporting new starts and leavers, including provision of devices, accounts, and access/permissions
- Acting as first level support and assuming full ownership and responsibility of IT support within the organization, including remote sites
- Ensuring that all issues, queries, and enquiries are dealt with promptly and professionally
- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting IT-related software
- Providing solutions in relation to hardware and software within the organization
- Responsible for deployment of hardware and configuration of mobile phones, Microsoft-based devices, and any associated VPN requirements
- Developing and managing the overall organization IT infrastructure
- Management of anti-spam software
- Developing and maintaining IT Support SharePoint site
- Working closely with relevant stakeholders to ensure the highest quality of technical support and consultancy is delivered
- Maintaining confidentiality regarding information being processed, stored, or accessed
- Developing and maintaining an in-depth technical knowledge of all systems and solutions
- Bug Fixing
- Responsible for occasional support outside of normal working hours
