Requirements
Must:
- I am looking for candidates with a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in systems integration, ideally within the aerospace sector, with a focus on military aircraft or fighter jet systems is essential.
- A strong knowledge of avionics, flight control systems, and mission systems is required.
- Familiarity with aerospace integration and testing methodologies, including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing, is important.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results is necessary.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving integration challenges is required.
- UK security clearance or the ability to obtain it is essential.
Responsibilities
- As a Systems Integration Engineer, I will lead the integration of avionics, mission systems, and other aircraft subsystems within fighter jet programmes.
- It will be my responsibility to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure system requirements are fully understood and met.
- I will develop and execute integration and test plans, including simulation and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.
- Troubleshooting and resolving system integration issues during development and operational phases will be crucial.
- I will conduct systems analysis to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and performance requirements.
- Providing technical support and expertise to the development and testing teams will be part of my role.
- I will contribute to the continuous improvement of systems integration processes and methodologies.
