Requirements
Must:
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of PM policies, processes, procedures, and systems
- Proven PM experience demonstrated in a professional capacity within a project
- Good knowledge and understanding of projects
- Comprehensive understanding of one or more Project Management tools, techniques, and practices
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the business environment for the project
- Knowledge and experience of PM governance and assurance processes such as Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs)
- Experience in influencing stakeholders typically inside the company to achieve business success
- Good understanding of the wider PM environment and developments in the field
Responsibilities
- Manage a small project or a part of a larger project, such as a specific work package
- Support a Project Manager or Head of Project in managing a larger project
- Help with P3 integration to ensure project management processes are defined and coordinated
- Analyze project activities to facilitate PM leadership in making direction changes
- Act as a Control Account Manager with specific responsibilities for particular Control Accounts within the projects control regime
- Adapt and apply PM practices in various circumstances and guide others in their application
Description
We are offering an initial 12-month contract for a P3 Practitioner, with a hybrid work arrangement of 2-3 days on-site in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, or Sheffield. The role is compensated at £63.40 per hour (umbrella rate – inside IR35). Our team is focused on managing projects effectively while ensuring alignment with P3 integration processes and achieving successful project outcomes.
