Requirements
Must:
- Degree in a relevant technical or professional discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years experience in a relevant industry or role.
- Experience using modern UX and design tools to create and iterate on workflows, wireframes, and prototypes (e.g. Figma, Moqups, or similar).
- Experience with collaboration and delivery tooling (e.g. Jira, Confluence or equivalent platforms).
- Experience working across software development lifecycles.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to different audiences.
- Relevant professional or role-specific certifications (desirable).
- Experience coordinating across multiple concurrent initiatives (desirable).
- Familiarity with compliance-driven or regulated delivery environments (desirable).
- Practical experience with responsive web design, information architecture, accessibility standards, and usability best practices (desirable).
Responsibilities
- Lead the exploration of business and user requirements, translating them into clear, well-defined solution concepts and design direction with strong attention to data quality and integrity.
- Design efficient, intuitive, and coherent user workflows and interfaces, balancing user needs, technical constraints, and architectural principles.
- Work closely with stakeholders, developers, and QA to ensure shared understanding from discovery through to delivery, using clear communication and appropriate artefacts.
- Present options, impacts, and recommendations to support informed decisions, while maintaining traceability from business needs to delivered outcomes.
- Support internal testing, review, and assurance activities, ensuring delivered features remain aligned with the intended business outcomes and design decisions established during discovery.
