Requirements
Must:
I am looking for candidates who have proven experience in securing Azure environments in line with best practices. You must be proficient in Microsoft Defender (Cloud, Endpoint, 365) and Sentinel, as well as Microsoft Purview, Compliance Manager, and related compliance tools. Familiarity with Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, and Identity Governance is essential, along with knowledge in Data Loss Prevention, sensitivity labels, and insider risk management. Experience with ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and NIS2 frameworks is also required, as is proficiency in PowerShell scripting and the use of the Microsoft Graph API.
Certifications needed include AZ-500 and SC-100 (or working towards them), in addition to one or more of the following: MS-500, SC-400, or SC-900. Ideally, you will also hold additional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CCSP.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer, I expect you to join our technical team focused on enhancing cloud security and ensuring compliance across our Microsoft Azure environments. Your role will involve hands-on security engineering, closely collaborating with infrastructure and DevOps teams. I need you to support the adoption of Microsoft’s security toolset across our organization.
