Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with proven experience in the following areas:
- Securing Azure environments in line with best practices
- Microsoft Defender (Cloud, Endpoint, 365)
- Microsoft Sentinel
- Microsoft Purview, Compliance Manager, and related compliance tools
- Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, and Identity Governance
- Data Loss Prevention, sensitivity labels, and insider risk management
- Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, and NIS2 frameworks
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and the use of Microsoft Graph API
Certifications required:
- AZ-500
- SC-100 (or currently working towards it)
- One or more of MS-500 / SC-400 / SC-900
Desired certifications include:
- CISSP
- CISM
- CCSP
Responsibilities
As a Senior Security Engineer, you will be part of a technical team dedicated to strengthening cloud security and ensuring compliance across Microsoft Azure environments. This role will involve hands-on security engineering, where you will work closely with infrastructure and DevOps teams. You will also support the adoption of Microsoft’s security toolset across the organization.
Description
This position is based in London and is offered on an initial 6 to 9-month contract basis, paying market day rates depending on experience and classified as Outside IR35.
