Requirements

Must:
- Proven experience as a SOC Analyst (L2 / L3) - Strong skills in monitoring security alerts and events across enterprise environments - Experience investigating potential cyber security incidents and responding appropriately - Proficiency with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, Sentinel, or QRadar - Ability to conduct threat analysis and triage security alerts - Experience supporting incident response and remediation activities - Familiarity with working alongside security engineering teams to enhance detection capabilities - Experience within financial services, fintech, or other regulated environments is beneficial

Responsibilities

- Support security operations monitoring and incident response activities within a large enterprise environment - Monitor security alerts and events across enterprise environments - Investigate potential cyber security incidents and respond appropriately - Conduct threat analysis and triage security alerts - Support incident response and remediation activities - Collaborate with security engineering teams to improve detection capabilities

Were looking for a SOC Analyst (L2 / L3) for our consultancy client supporting a major cyber security programme for a financial services organization. This is an initial 6-month contract paying up to £600 per day Outside IR35. The role allows remote working with occasional travel to London when required.
