Requirements
Must:
- Proven skills in designing secure cloud architectures across AWS and Azure environments
- Experience implementing cloud security controls aligned with NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS frameworks
- Background in supporting large cloud transformation or migration programmes
- Ability to define identity, access, and network security models within cloud platforms
- Experience working closely with engineering and DevOps teams to embed security controls
- Capable of producing architecture documentation, threat models, and conducting security design reviews
- Experience within financial services, fintech, or regulated environments is beneficial
Responsibilities
- Design secure cloud architectures to enhance security within AWS and Azure environments
- Implement cloud security controls following established security frameworks
- Support large cloud transformation or migration initiatives
- Define and establish identity, access, and network security models for cloud platforms
- Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams to ensure the integration of security controls
- Produce and maintain architecture documentation, threat models, and security design reviews
Description
We are a consultancy firm looking for a Cloud Security Architect to deliver a major cyber security transformation programme for a large financial services organisation. This is an initial 6-month contract that offers a competitive daily rate and allows for remote working with occasional travel to London when required. Join our team to strengthen cloud security architecture and support the organisations broader cyber maturity roadmap.
