Requirements
Must:
- Experience in IT management within a small professional services environment
- Strong understanding of cyber security best practice and relevant certifications (e.g. Cyber Essentials Plus or similar)
- A genuine interest in AI and emerging technologies (e.g. tools such as Microsoft Copilot or similar platforms)
- Confident in supporting and guiding non-technical users
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Supporting the secure and effective use of all software and hardware across the business
- Providing training, guidance materials and 1-1 support to team members
- Implementing controls, reporting and clear communication around IT usage and security
- Managing and maintaining cyber security standards and certifications (e.g. Cyber Essentials)
- Overseeing systems including Microsoft 365 and other SaaS platforms
- Supporting the secure use of devices including laptops, tablets and mobile phones
- Driving the adoption of AI through identifying key use cases and testing solutions safely and effectively
Description
We are looking for an experienced IT, AI and Cyber Security Manager to support the effective and secure use of technology across our small professional services organisation. This part-time role is designed to fit around other commitments and is predominantly remote, with occasional in-person meetings when required.
