Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience with firewall platforms (e.g., Fortinet, Checkpoint, IPTABLE or equivalent)
- Hands-on experience with NetBox for infrastructure documentation and automation (MANDATORY)
- Proficiency in automation tools, especially Ansible and AWX
- Solid skills in Linux and bash
- Proven track record in deploying automated firewall solutions at scale
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating infrastructure automation workflows
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Candidate must be an EU citizen and based in an EU nation state for security reasons
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement firewall solutions tailored to our infrastructure requirements
- Utilize NetBox for maintaining and documenting infrastructure automation
- Automate firewall deployments using Ansible and AWX, ensuring efficiency and scalability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate infrastructure automation workflows and CI/CD pipelines
- Address and resolve any technical issues related to firewall management and deployment
Description
This is a 6-12 month rolling contract position based in Luxembourg, with the expectation of being onsite 1 or 2 days a month (non-negotiable). The budget for this role is €630 per day, all inclusive. This project is outside IR35. We value strong technical skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team. Certifications such as Red Hat Certified Specialist in Security: Linux, Fortinet NSE, or equivalent, as well as familiarity with GitLab or equivalent for managing automation code, are considered a bonus.
