Requirements

Must:
I am looking for candidates who have experience using and/or supporting components of the Google Suite of applications, including, but not limited to, Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Calendar (not essential). Its beneficial if you have an MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) certification in a Windows 10/11 environment, as well as an understanding of CompTIA A+ (PC Hardware Break Fix). Exposure to Windows Server environments, SQL, Jira Helpdesk, and bespoke system support would be advantageous. Ideally, you should have 1-2 years of experience in an IT support role, both desk and shop floor. A qualification such as an HNC/HND or equivalent degree in Computing is preferred, but not essential.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a small team of engineers in the UK while collaborating with various IT leaders based in global cost centers in the U.S. and Singapore. You will respond to technical assistance requests in person, via phone, and through the helpdesk. Your duties will include assisting with diagnosing and resolving technical hardware and software issues, logging all helpdesk interactions, and following standard operating procedures. You will redirect IT issues to the appropriate resources and identify and escalate issues requiring urgent attention. Additionally, you will create and maintain user accounts in Active Directory and the Google Administration console, build and refurbish PC bases and laptops as required, and handle other duties and projects as assigned.
