Requirements
Must:
- Strong, hands-on experience in enterprise networking, with at least 2 years in a dedicated networking role
- Proven experience working with Juniper and Aruba technologies
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues under pressure
- Experience delivering technical projects alongside BAU support
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Structured, methodical approach to troubleshooting and documentation
- Confidence working independently while contributing as part of a wider team
- Proactive mindset and a genuine interest in continuous learning
- Qualifications: JNCIA, ACNT or a relevant degree (or equivalent practical experience)
Responsibilities
- Act as a technical escalation point for complex network and security incidents
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues while managing priorities and SLAs
- Deliver network projects end-to-end, from design through to implementation, commissioning and UAT
- Configure, deploy and support enterprise network infrastructure, including: Juniper switching, routing and firewalls, Aruba wireless controllers and access points
- Lead wireless deployment, optimization and troubleshooting
- Own patching, upgrades and configuration changes across the estate
- Maintain clear, accurate network documentation and live ticket updates
- Build strong working relationships with customer stakeholders through clear, confident communication
- Mentor and guide a junior engineer, supporting their technical development
- Work independently on site while collaborating with wider Intercity delivery teams
