Requirements
Must:
- Previous dispatch experience
- Knowledge of export requirements and commercial invoices
- Proven experience using different courier platforms (e.g., TNT, DPD)
- Export compliance knowledge (beneficial)
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong experience in warehouse practices
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Quick learner
- Ability to prioritize workloads
- Good numerical skills
- Excellent timekeeping and flexible work approach
- Counterbalance FLT license (advantageous)
- Experience in stock management
- Familiarity with picks and putaways
- Capability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment with accuracy
Responsibilities
- Use six different courier vendor platforms to ship both UK homeland services and international
- Navigate escalation routes for different partners
- Liaise with scheduling team
- Ensure SAP queues are cleared
- Produce an end-of-day report
- Effectively escalate issues as required, both orally and electronically
- Produce manifests for the trunk and share electronically with internal service providers and management
- Maintain high levels of housekeeping in a 6S environment
Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse Dispatch Operative in our logistics warehouse located at Hatfield Business Park. This is a 6-month position, working Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 3 PM, with the possibility of overtime. We value accuracy, detail orientation, and a strong work ethic.
