2nd/3rd Line Support Engineer

- I seek candidates with experience working at a Managed Service Provider (MSP), possessing both onsite and support desk experience. - You must be a UK resident with access to a car for business use. - Outstanding problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are essential. - Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are a must. - I value outstanding customer service skills. - Experience in the management of devices and policies using Microsoft Endpoint Manager/Microsoft Intune is required. - You should have experience with the deployment and advanced support of Microsoft 365 products, including Entra ID, SharePoint/OneDrive, and Teams. - Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Windows Server 2016-2022, particularly with Remote Desktop Services, Active Directory, AD Sync, and Group Policy is necessary. - A good understanding of virtualization technologies such as Hyper-V is expected. - Technical knowledge of LAN/WAN, Routing, Switching, WatchGuard firewalls, VLANs, and VPNs is important. - Understanding backup, recovery, and business continuity concepts is crucial. - I also look for an understanding of security concepts, the Cyber Essentials framework, compliance, and governance. - The ability to provide technical advice in an easy-to-understand manner to various-sized organizations is essential. - You should be able to liaise with clients, internal staff, and third parties to efficiently deliver support services. - Maintaining accurate technical documentation is necessary. - Experience with PSA (Autotask preferred) and working to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) is required.
