Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience as a senior or lead engineer, ideally stepping into or already operating as a Head of Engineering or Engineering Manager.
- Strong technical background in building cloud-based systems and hands-on backend or API development (any modern stack).
- Deep understanding of scalability, distributed systems, and performance optimization.
- Passion for mentoring engineers and leading high-performance teams.
- Track record of delivering reliable, resilient systems in agile environments.
- Experience with microservice architectures, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and site reliability engineering principles (nice-to-have).
- Exposure to managing or scaling engineering functions in fast-paced growth environments (nice-to-have).
- Comfortable blending leadership with technical depth in a modern cloud ecosystem (nice-to-have).
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a distributed team of engineers, fostering a culture of quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Stay hands-on by architecting and delivering core systems and integrations in an agile environment.
- Define and evolve the technical roadmap, ensuring scalability, security, and performance across the platform.
- Collaborate with product leadership to design and implement solutions that align to business goals and customer needs.
- Drive engineering excellence through modern development practices: clean code, TDD, automation, and cloud-native deployment.
- Introduce and evaluate emerging technologies that strengthen the platforms reliability and innovation.
