Responsibilities
- Responsible for Security, Health & Safety, and Crisis Management
- Oversee day-to-day management of the Security Department
- Protect company assets against theft, fire, assault, and other risks
- Keep senior management informed of incidents or threats
- Complete detailed incident reports and conduct investigations
- Gather evidence and maintain accurate security logs
- Lead hazard spotting and manage the Safety Management System (Diligence)
- Ensure compliance of health and safety documentation
- Guide and approve departmental risk assessments and audits
- Chair Safety Committee meetings and coordinate annual reviews
- Manage cash handling procedures and key control systems
- Respond to emergencies according to hotel procedures
- Deliver Health & Safety inductions and statutory training
- Maintain high standards of customer service and legal compliance
