Requirements
Must:
- Strong commercial experience developing iOS applications using Swift
- Experience working on consumer-facing mobile applications
- Experience building production applications using SwiftUI
- Experience integrating REST APIs
- Good understanding of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM or Clean Architecture
- Experience writing unit tests and UI tests
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Experience working with Apple HealthKit (desirable)
- Experience working within regulated industries such as medical devices, healthcare, automotive or aerospace (desirable)
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (desirable)
- Previous mentoring or leadership experience (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and ongoing improvement of iOS mobile applications
- Build robust features using Swift and SwiftUI
- Integrate REST APIs and manage data processing workflows
- Develop and maintain Apple HealthKit functionality
- Write and maintain automated unit and UI tests
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, UX and QA
- Participate in code reviews and support development best practices
- Contribute to architectural discussions and technical planning
- Support release processes and CI/CD workflows
- Mentor developers and share technical knowledge within the team
- Ensure development work aligns with quality and regulatory standards
Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior iOS Developer to join our growing software team in the Bracknell area, working on consumer-facing digital health applications with a hybrid working model (3 days in the office). Youll be part of an established team focused on modern iOS applications that integrate with Apple Health data. This role provides an opportunity to influence architectural decisions and contribute meaningfully to products that support health and wellbeing.
