Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in delivering technical solutions as part of large projects
- Proficient in modern delivery models such as Scrum and Agile
- Experience with cloud technologies, particularly Azure
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps
- Proficient with Git
- Advocate of DevOps principles
- Excellent understanding of React and experience with Next JS
- Strong understanding of Node JS
- Experience working with RESTful web services
- Good understanding of architectural principles, including design patterns such as SOA and Micro-Services
Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and document complex applications in a cloud-first environment
- Build web-based Front End interfaces interacting with RESTful APIs using React, Next JS, and other technologies
- Collaborate with test engineers on acceptance criteria and test coverage
- Investigate problems and opportunities in existing processes, communicating findings to stakeholders
- Manage problems, incidents, risks, and issues per IPO standards
- Work within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver user-focused digital services while adhering to governance standards
- Implement toolkits and APIs for integration, performance optimization, security, and scalability
- Explore innovative solutions to problems in a fail-fast manner
- Apply HMG IA technical security controls as per ISO 27001 & SPF
Description

As a Senior Front End Developer, you will work in our Newport office under our hybrid working arrangements, spending at least 20% of your time on-site.
