Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 5 years experience in IT support or service function, specifically in a 3rd Line Support role
- ERP management capabilities (ideally COINS or Netsuite)
- Technical expertise in Server Maintenance (Windows 2012/2016), Backups (Veeam), and Network Infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft environments (Office, SharePoint, AD, Exchange)
- Confident, customer-focused problem solver with excellent communication skills
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to sites
- Eligible to work in the UK
Responsibilities
- Provide support across hardware, software, phones, mobiles, and specialist systems
- Manage helpdesk enquiries, escalating where needed and seeing issues through to resolution
- Support servers (Windows 2012/2016), Exchange 365, backups (Veeam), and network infrastructure
- Set up new sites, accounts, and mobile devices
- Maintain IT documentation and ensure smooth daily operations
Description
We are seeking a 3rd Line IT Support Engineer to join our team and play a key role in keeping our systems running smoothly and delivering on various projects such as network refresh, ERP implementation, on-premise to cloud transformation, and the integration of a new ticketing system. This position offers a salary between £40,000 to £45,000, based in Maidstone, Kent, along with additional benefits including a 5% bonus potential on a shift pattern (7am to 4pm or 8am to 5pm). You will be the go-to person for troubleshooting, resolving issues, and supporting business-critical projects, ensuring our colleagues have the tools they need to succeed.
