Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience in solution design and systems integration
- Broad technical background across infrastructure and systems
- Knowledge of security protocols and ITIL environments
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and influence stakeholders
- Experience in public sector, policing, or regulated environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams)
- Understanding of Azure identity (Entra ID / Azure AD), Virtual Machines/Networking
- Proficiency in automation tools (Power Automate, RPA)
- Networking and infrastructure knowledge (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs)
- Experience with virtualization (VMware / Hyper-V)
Responsibilities
- Produce high-level (HLD) and low-level (LLD) documentation
- Design and deliver solutions across complex IT environments
- Assess impact on live infrastructure and systems
- Ensure alignment with security, risk, and compliance standards
- Work with stakeholders and third-party suppliers to shape solutions
- Support procurement and technical evaluations
Description
We are excited to offer a permanent position as a Technical Solutions Architect within our IT Services for an enterprise government-owned corporation undergoing transformation. With a salary ranging from £50,000 to £60,000, along with excellent benefits, a 30% pension contribution, and flexible working hours, we prioritize a supportive work environment. You will be part of a dedicated team of 25 professionals and will not be directly involved in hands-on delivery but will focus on documentation, theory, and strategy as we migrate systems to the M365 suite. Additionally, eligibility for enhanced vetting will be required.
