Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience testing complex software systems in delivery environments
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium
- Development experience using C# or TypeScript
- Solid background in API and UI testing
- Experience working with Azure DevOps
- Naturally curious with a strong testing mindset and attention to detail
- Comfortable managing complexity and working across multiple system components
Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end manual and automated testing across new front-office platforms
- Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts
- Execute API and UI testing to ensure system reliability and performance
- Collaborate closely with developers, BAs, and product teams to identify defects early
- Contribute to test strategy, planning, and continuous improvement of QA practices
- Work within Azure DevOps to manage test cases, defects, and delivery workflows
Description
We are working on behalf of a bespoke software consultancy supporting a UK financial services organisation on the development of new, greenfield front-office systems. We are looking to engage an experienced Senior Software Tester to support both automated and manual testing across complex, business-critical applications. This hands-on contract role is suited to someone who enjoys working in delivery-focused teams and thrives in technically complex environments. The role is initially for a duration of 6 months.
