Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT support or service function with a background in 3rd Line Support
- Experience working within an Internal IT department is a plus
- ERP management capabilities (ideally COINS or Netsuite) are desirable
- Technical expertise in Server Maintenance (2012 to 2016), Backups (Veeam), and Network Infrastructure is essential
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft environments (Azure, 365, Office, SharePoint, AD, Exchange) is crucial
- Confident, customer-focused problem solver with excellent communication skills
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel to sites (company pool vehicle provided)
Responsibilities
- Provide support across hardware, software, phones, mobiles, and specialist systems
- Manage helpdesk enquiries, escalating where needed and seeing issues through to resolution
- Support servers (Windows 2012/2016), Exchange 365, backups (Veeam), and network infrastructure
- Set up new sites, accounts, and mobile devices
- Maintain IT documentation and ensure smooth daily operations
Description
We are a highly reputable business located in the heart of Kent, seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join our internal IT department. The successful candidate will provide 3rd line escalation support and project management to our Microsoft IT ecosystem. This role offers a salary of up to £40,000 to £45,000, with additional benefits including a 5% bonus potential. You will be based in Maidstone, Kent, working 5 days per week, either from 7am to 4pm or 8am to 5pm. We pride ourselves on fostering a supportive team environment as we continue our transformation program from on-premise to cloud.
