Must:
We are looking for someone with proven experience in managing technology and finance value streams, particularly within the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with agile delivery processes, data-driven decision making, and program management capabilities with large multi-million-pound budgets. You must possess expertise in implementing financial management practices, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Additionally, experience in identifying and mitigating technology-related risks and managing workforce planning is essential. Monitoring agile maturity across a technology function is crucial, as well as the ability to build and maintain governance frameworks that support senior leadership.
Responsibilities
As the Head of Technology Business Management (TBM), you will act as a trusted partner to the CIO, overseeing performance, governance, executive reporting, and operational management across our Technology Function. Your role will involve collaborating with Value Stream Product Owners and Centres of Excellence Leads to support various requirements across Finance, Risk, People, Legal, Product, and Operations. You will be responsible for driving agile maturity and embedding best practices, as well as owning the portfolio view of outcomes, benefits, costs, and productivity to guide strategic prioritization and decision-making. Furthermore, you will lead governance processes for technology projects, ensuring transparency and alignment with our business priorities while managing vendor relationships to maximize expected value.
