Requirements
Must:
- I require a minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT support or service functions, with a strong background in a 3rd Line Support position.
- You must have technical expertise in Server Maintenance (Windows Server 2012 to 2016), Backups (Veeam), and Network Infrastructure.
- A strong knowledge of Microsoft environments, including Office, SharePoint, Active Directory, and Exchange is essential.
- I am looking for a confident, customer-focused problem solver with excellent communication skills.
- A full UK driving licence is necessary, along with flexibility to travel to various sites.
- You must be eligible to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
- You will provide support across hardware, software, phones, mobiles, and specialist systems.
- You will manage helpdesk enquiries, ensuring issues are escalated as needed and seeing them through to resolution.
- You will support servers (Windows 2012/2016), Exchange 365, backups (Veeam), and our network infrastructure.
- You will be responsible for setting up new sites, accounts, and mobile devices.
- You will maintain IT documentation to ensure smooth daily operations.
Description
We are seeking a 3rd Line IT Support Engineer to join our team and play a key role in keeping our systems running smoothly. You will report to the IT Manager and provide hands-on support across servers, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, specialist applications, and network infrastructure. We are looking to offer a competitive salary of up to £40,000, based in Maidstone, Kent, along with additional benefits that include a 5% bonus potential. You will be the go-to person for troubleshooting, resolving issues, and supporting business-critical projects, ensuring your colleagues have the tools they need to succeed.
