Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 2 years attendance in a Computer Science related degree
- Coding experience using an OO language such as Java, C#, C++
- Knowledge of a SQL based database technology
- Agile development familiarity
- Eligibility to work in the UK is required
- Strong academic record at A-Level or in further education expected to receive a 2:1 or above in Computer Science/Software Engineering or related field
- Strong communication skills and a passion for collaboration in a team-oriented environment
- Strong coding ability within Object Oriented languages
- A passion for software engineering with examples of work outside of the core curriculum
- A strong desire to understand and leverage new tools and technologies
- Analytical abilities to translate and communicate technical requirements
Responsibilities
- Estimate, design, and develop features from requirements provided within the dev ops system
- Contribute to test planning, designing, and estimation
- Test and resolve bugs reported in the products
- Track and manage work items and defects through to closure of the testing lifecycle
- Participate in development team meetings
- Ensure quality products by creating automated unit tests and engaging in other testing solutions as required
- Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management
- Comply with all HR & IT Policies, ensuring client and data confidentiality
Description
We are a collaborative team of experienced engineers developing, maintaining, and testing our Collaboration software products using C#, React, JavaScript, and .NET. Our work environment is Agile, fostering excellent communication and teamwork. Located in Belfast City Centre, we expect successful applicants to work from the office at least three days per week. We value a positive attitude and enthusiasm for problem-solving as much as experience and skills.
