Requirements
Must:
- At least 5+ years of experience in a platform, DevOps, or infrastructure-focused role.
- Strong virtual environment skills (Proxmox or similar).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Proficient in server management, particularly on Linux.
- Strong experience with databases such as MySQL.
- Senior Engineers who have the ability to lead projects and mentor junior team members when necessary.
Responsibilities
As a Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in running our largest systems within the UK, with exciting expansion into the USA. You will help shape how our platforms scale, ensuring resilience, and embed DevOps principles across our business using various tools. Your responsibilities will include managing and improving our on-premise operations that support a significant portion of our workload on Proxmox, while integrating hybrid cloud solutions. Resilience is a top priority as you will be involved in disaster recovery, backups, and data replication. You will thrive in an environment where we push code to production multiple times a day, aiming for rapid development while ensuring minimal downtime.
