Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in technical leadership on DevOps platforms and technologies.
- In-depth technical expertise in Kubernetes and AWS.
- Experience in planning and leading the delivery of significant technical changes to DevOps platforms.
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code scripting using Terraform or similar tooling.
- Experience in managing technical risk and implementing appropriate mitigations.
- Proven ability to learn and understand new technologies.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact and build working relationships with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
As a Lead DevOps Engineer, I will provide technical engineering capability for our DevOps team. I will take the lead on platforms, manage roadmaps, and collaborate with development teams to deliver new services while championing DevOps methodologies, processes, and tooling. As a part of the DevOps teams, I will offer technical leadership and coaching to other DevOps Engineers. Additionally, I will be responsible for driving technical consolidation and improvement activities by providing guidance and leadership to technicians within the IT Operations Practice and beyond. I will work across the Transformation & Technology Directorate to support and deliver solutions that align with our Technology and Business Strategies.
