Lead Cloud Engineer - Swansea

At DVLA, we are looking for an experienced Cloud Engineer to join us as a Cloud Lead and help drive the next phase of our digital transformation. Our salary range is £55,515 - £80,400, plus excellent Civil Service benefits and over 28% employer pension contribution. As a Lead Cloud Engineer, you will lead one or more Agile delivery squads, following a DevOps model and taking ownership of the full lifecycle of your products from design to deployment and beyond. You will work across a wide range of systems and environments, designing, building, and operating cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or Azure, ensuring it is robust, scalable, and secure. Additionally, you will support application teams in building modern, cloud-first services that handle millions of transactions every day.
