Requirements
Must:
- Lead Software Engineer with experience leading small development teams
- Strong background in C# and C++ with a robust problem-solving mindset
- Passion for simulation, synthetic environments, and systems-of-systems engineering
- Open, adaptable approach to building reusable software across multiple products
- Exposure to real-time simulation, DIS/HLA (desirable, not essential)
Responsibilities
- Deliver innovative end-to-end synthetic environments representing complete weapon systems
- Combine software development, team leadership, and systems thinking in a hands-on technical role
- Work closely with Project Leads and Simulation Architects to develop advanced simulation and visualization solutions
- Engage in early concept experimentation and AR/VR visualization through to in-service support and training
- Contribute to the full product lifecycle within the Weapon Systems Simulation & Experimentation (WSSE) team
Description
We are looking for a proactive Lead Software Developer to join our Weapon Systems Simulation & Experimentation (WSSE) team, delivering groundbreaking technology as part of a boundary-pushing weapon system development program.
