Requirements
Must:
- I require demonstrable experience developing and supporting systems and platform integrations.
- I need you to have an excellent understanding of a wide range of integration strategies and techniques across diverse technology environments and architectures, from fully open source/bespoke environments to fully proprietary, Enterprise, and COTS-based systems.
- Strong scripting/programming skills are essential, particularly in SQL, with additional skills in languages such as Python, Java/JavaScript, or C# being very welcome.
- You should be proficient in API & Web Services, including REST/RESTful, SOAP, XML, and JSON.
- I expect you to have cloud platform proficiency, knowing how to deploy, manage, and integrate services across cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and/or agile iPaaS solutions like Workato, Celigo, SnapLogic, Jitterbit, or similar.
- Strong mental agility, problem-solving skills, and an ability to handle complex integration scenarios are crucial.
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral, along with strong stakeholder engagement and management skills will help you excel in a customer-facing environment.
Responsibilities
- I expect you to drive change requests and development to the integration landscape while providing proactive systems monitoring and support.
- On a daily basis, you'll perform system monitoring and health checks to ensure integration platforms and workflows are performing optimally.
- You will triage, diagnose, and resolve end-to-end incidents, communicating with stakeholders at all stages.
- Supporting problem management by analyzing recurring issues, root causes, and implementing fixes will be part of your role.
- Delivering change requests while ensuring high-quality development and smooth releases into production is essential.
- You will contribute to change management processes by conducting impact assessments, release plans, and regression testing, while maintaining a high rate of release success.
- Balancing support and development workloads, participating in structured weekly handovers, and working with Lead Consultants to learn, share knowledge, and assure continuous improvement will be key aspects of your responsibilities.
