Requirements
Must:
- Demonstrable commercial experience of effectively working independently as a Business Analyst
- Strong experience mapping AsIs/ToBe processes and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Experience developing functional and non-functional requirements
- Experience working with social housing, repairs, maintenance, asset management, or property services business processes
- Excellent communication skills and strong work ethic
- Desirable: Experience with dedicated housing repairs or assets software (e.g., MRI Repairs/Assets, Total Mobile/Connect)
- Desirable: SQL scripting
- Desirable: Relevant certification (e.g., ITIL, BCS, vendor-specific accreditation)
Responsibilities
- Shape, develop, and own end-to-end AsIs/ToBe business solutions
- Conduct business analysis activities and develop business requirements
- Develop functional and non-functional requirements for procurement
- Engage with stakeholders and conduct requirement gathering
- Ensure robust elicitation and validation of business requirements
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
- Improve existing business processes
- Produce artefacts and support solution development
- Conduct user acceptance testing and change impact assessments
Description
We are a respected and established social enterprise offering an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to play a key role in the procurement and implementation of new application technology. This contract is initially for six months with scope to extend, and it is offered outside IR35. Our role is hybrid, primarily home-based with weekly presence required in our West Midlands office. As part of a wider digital transformation programme, youll be part of a fresh, ambitious, and technology-driven team.
