Requirements
Must:
- Strong expertise in data governance, data quality, and metadata management
- Hands-on experience with Collibra platform
- Familiarity with data lakes and ETL tools (Glue, Informatica, Talend, IICS)
- Experience with data warehouses (Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery)
- Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Knowledge of streaming sources (Kafka)
- Ability to build lineage diagrams across ETL pipelines and APIs
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of Collibra-based data governance solutions
- Define Collibra architecture, metadata models, custom domains, and asset types
- Create reusable frameworks for metadata ingestion, lineage, and governance workflows
- Configure Collibra components including custom asset models and workflows
- Develop and maintain Collibra REST APIs and integration connectors
- Collaborate with data governance councils and business SMEs to define data standards
- Ensure alignment with enterprise data governance frameworks and compliance requirements
- Implement automated metadata ingestion from various data sources
- Build lineage diagrams across ETL pipelines, APIs, datasets, and consumption layers
- Ensure metadata completeness, accuracy, and operational SLAs
Description
We are seeking a Senior Technical Lead to join our team in Norwich on a contracting basis, where you will work in a hybrid environment, spending 3 days a week in the office. Our focus is on delivering robust solutions using the Collibra platform to enhance data governance, quality, and management practices. You will collaborate with enterprise architects and data stewards to help shape our data governance initiatives while enjoying a competitive contractor rate and a supportive team atmosphere.
