Requirements
Must:
- 7 years of experience in software development
- Proficient in Java (Spring Boot)
- Strong knowledge of AWS (ECR/ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, Apigee)
- Experience with AngularJS
- Familiarity with Jenkins, CloudFormation, Groovy, Typescript, Karate, Gherkin, Cypress
- Knowledge of Docker, GitLab, Maven, and CI/CD practices
- Understanding of secure coding principles
- AWS DevOps Engineer Professional certification (or above) required
- ITIL certification is desirable
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain secure, high-quality code
- Design and develop AWS-based solutions
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and modern tooling
- Support integrations and production services
- Provide L3/on-call support when required
Description
We have a permanent opportunity for a Senior Java/AWS Developer with one of our clients located in Leeds. This role offers a competitive salary between £65k and £70k, including a 10% annual bonus. Our team is dedicated to innovation and quality in software development, and we are looking for a skilled developer to enhance our AWS-based solutions. We value collaboration and expertise, requiring 3 days on-site work each week.
