Requirements
Must:
- Excellent knowledge of Kotlin/Java
- Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and libraries for common tasks, benchmarking, and optimisation
- Proficient in Googles Android design principles, interface guidelines, and code versioning tools such as Git
- Familiarity with applying SOLID Principles and MVVM/MVI architecture
- Experience with Android Architecture Components and other Jetpack libraries
- Proficient in Jetpack Compose
- Experience working in a modularised codebase
- Familiarity with UI testing
Responsibilities
- Craft and develop mobile components and services
- Collaborate closely with strategy teams to architect, design, and implement solutions
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate technical concepts effectively
- Optimize application performance and ensure high-quality user experiences
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest Android development tools and libraries
- Conduct UI testing to ensure consistent and high-quality interfaces
