Requirements
Must:
- Good depth of Test Quality Assurance experience
- Experience of real-time operations for Power Network Control Systems including telemetry-based products and communications protocols (IEC101)
- Experience with alarm management, network monitoring, forecasting display (mimics), and workflow management (historian)
- Strong experience testing across the Test Lifecycle
- Strong business process-based test experience, with the ability to understand, follow, and explain complex business processes
- Strong test design, development, and documentation skills, including creating User Stories, Test Scenarios, and JIRA (JQL etc.) Reports
- Proficient in MS Office/Excel
Responsibilities
As a SCADA Test Analyst, I will ensure high-quality testing through:
- Developing and executing test plans that cover telemetry-based products and relevant communications protocols
- Managing alarm systems and monitoring networks to provide accurate forecasting displays and workflows
- Understanding and documenting complex business processes and ensuring they are reflected in test scenarios
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive test documentation to aid in effective testing cycles
Description
This position is based in Warwick, UK, and is a contract role. It requires hybrid or office-based working, depending on the specific needs of the project. We are looking to fill this position within a timeframe of 1-2 months. Candidates may need to be flexible regarding travel or on-call shifts related to project tasks.
