Requirements
Must:
- I have 10-12 years of experience in delivering SAP S/4 Transformation Programs, particularly in SAP FI.
- I possess a deeper technical knowledge of SAP FI and data reconciliation.
- I am knowledgeable about financial reporting and consolidation systems, including statutory (local) and US GAAP reporting; familiarity with Cognos and SAP is an advantage.
- I am willing to challenge processes, spotting potential errors and identifying areas for improvement.
- I can clearly explain complex financial issues to non-finance individuals and build strong relationships with senior business partners across the organization.
- I have a strong ability to build and grow existing networks and identify areas that require further support.
- I appreciate the US SOX controls environment and understand system controls.
- I demonstrate enthusiasm and a willingness to tackle challenges, becoming involved in the details as required.
- I possess deep process knowledge in my area of expertise.
- I am an effective team leader and motivator, capable of presenting difficult technical situations in an understandable manner for non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- I will work as a key member of the S/4 Transformation Programme team on the S/4HAHA program, leveraging my expertise in finance from design to testing, Dress Rehearsal, Cutover, and Go-live/Hypercare.
- I will liaise with a network of process analysts and subject matter experts to identify potential design and build gaps.
- I will provide guidance and input for activities such as data conversion and cleansing, reporting remediation, Cutover support, and deployment planning.
- I will define mass creation of WBS to facilitate the transition to IOs, detailing actions required at cutover (clearing balances, journaling, etc.).
- I will oversee the fixed assets technical load process and ledger initiation.
- I will configure and define attributes for the Chart of Accounts.
- I will use BPD supplements to define step-level operational usage, including resolution of known defects and gaps in areas such as Collection and Disputes, Intercompany, Fixed assets, and IFRS ledger during UAT execution.
- I will support business F&P team members by guiding testers and execution.
Description
- This position does not have any supervisory or managerial responsibilities. - I will not be managing budgets, targets, or equipment. - I am expected to work from the office three days a week and have experience managing a multi-cultural team across different time zones. - The role involves regular client-facing interactions and consistent communication with the client and team members.
