Must:
I need applicants who possess strong experience with API integration patterns and tools, along with familiarity in OAuth2, API Keys, and signed URL authentication methods. Understanding of MuleSoft or Apigee (APG) middleware integration is essential. I am looking for hands-on experience with GCP Cloud Functions and Google Cloud Storage (GCS) triggers, as well as exposure to or working knowledge of DataLocker Studio. Proficiency in creating or maintaining Excel-based reporting solutions is required, alongside a working knowledge of source control systems, particularly Azure DevOps Git. Good communication and documentation skills are a must. I value candidates with Google Cloud certifications, such as Professional Cloud Developer or Cloud Engineer, and experience working in agile/Scrum environments. Exposure to data pipelines and event-driven architecture is also preferred.
Responsibilities
In this role, I expect you to develop and manage RESTful API integrations using signed URLs, API Keys, and OAuth2. You will need to understand and implement MuleSoft/APG (Apigee) request/response formats in integration workflows. Additionally, you will design and deploy Google Cloud Functions with GCS triggers for event-driven automation, working with Data Locker Studio for data management or transfer workflows. Building and maintaining Excel-based reports with automated or semi-automated data sources will be part of your task as well. I want you to use Azure DevOps Git for version control, code reviews, and branching workflows. Collaboration with cross-functional teams for solution design and delivery in an agile environment is crucial, and you will need to ensure that integrations are secure, scalable, and aligned with cloud best practices.
Description
The position is for a GCP Integration-Focused Developer based in Warwick, UK, on a contracting basis. You will be working in a hybrid environment, requiring you to be in the office three days a week. The role is expected to last for six months and may roll over. We are looking to fill one position in the Ai.Cloud unit. We are eager and excited to find the right candidate to join our team!
