Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate with the following essential skills and experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Azure, with at least 5 years as a Fabric and PySpark Developer.
- Experience with concurrency patterns, CLR, and scalable application design.
- A deep understanding of Azure services, including Azure Functions, App Services, AKS, and Logic Apps.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Cosmos DB, particularly in query optimization and throughput management.
- Familiarity with distributed systems and NoSQL data modeling.
- Experience with Git, version control, and continuous integration tools.
- Experience in Spark streaming and batch processing.
- Knowledge of Fabric Spark jobs/Notebooks, as well as Delta table optimization, Eventstream / RTI / KQL (Nice to have).
Desirable skills include:
- Advanced proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core, with strong object-oriented design principles.
Responsibilities
As an Azure Cosmos Developer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Architecting and developing cloud-native applications using Azure Cosmos DB (SQL API and Mongo API).
- Designing and implementing partitioning strategies, indexing, and consistency models to support real-time financial data processing.
- Building reusable libraries and frameworks in C#/.NET or Node.js.
- Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Monitoring and optimizing Cosmos DB performance utilizing Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
- Implementing automated testing and maintaining unit test frameworks.
- Collaborating closely with solution architects and DevOps teams to integrate Cosmos DB into microservices architectures.
- Ensuring compliance with security, governance, and data protection standards.
