Requirements
Must:
- Proven experience in data visualisation and BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau or similar)
- Strong grounding in data storytelling and user-focused design
- Ability to work with varied datasets and extract key insights
- Experience collaborating in multi-disciplinary teams
- Passion for transport, infrastructure, or solving complex real-world problems through data
- (Desirable) Knowledge of Python, R, or SQL for data transformation
- (Desirable) Familiarity with GIS or geospatial data visualisation
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data accuracy and quality
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Proactive and adaptable, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and visualisations using modern BI/visualisation tools
- Work with regional teams to understand business needs and turn data into actionable insights
- Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data quality and accessibility
- Translate complex technical outputs into compelling visuals for technical and non-technical audiences alike
- Contribute to innovation within our data practice, identifying new ways to bring railway data to life
