Requirements
Must:
- Strong understanding of information governance principles, including retention, classification, and security.
- Demonstrable skills in all aspects of Microsoft Purview.
- Ability to write and maintain documentation and reports.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Familiarity with data protection regulations (desirable).
- Experience in implementing information governance policies and procedures (desirable).
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams (desirable).
- Certifications such as CIPM, CIPP/E, or similar information governance credentials (desirable).
Responsibilities
- Ensure effective governance of Icelands information assets.
- Manage information retention, identification, categorisation, and applying appropriate security controls.
- Monitor compliance with policies and standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to ensure secure information management.
- Report to the Cyber Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) Manager.
