Requirements
Must:
- I require a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- I am looking for proven experience (2-3 years) as a Software Developer specializing in PHP and web development.
- Strong proficiency in PHP is essential.
- I expect strong skills in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- A solid understanding of database systems, such as MySQL, is necessary.
- I need you to have experience with version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services integration is important.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to:
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other related technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and other developers, to deliver outstanding user experiences and intuitive interfaces.
- Participate in the full software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and efficiency while ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure our codebase is maintainable, scalable, and secure.
- Debug and resolve technical issues, bugs, and deficiencies in our applications.
- Stay updated with emerging web development trends, tools, and best practices and apply them to projects as needed.
Description
We are a well-established company that has been trading for 40 years, and I am looking for a highly motivated Web Developer to join our team. You will be based full-time in our office in Billingham, so being within a reasonable commuting distance is necessary. The salary for this position is up to £32,000, and we offer progression and training opportunities. Please note that sponsorship is not available for this role, and we cannot accept Post Study work visas.
