Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience with PHP, Laravel, and MySQL
- Proven ability to build custom WordPress themes and work confidently with WordPress core
- Excellent front-end development skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Hands-on experience with GitHub for version control
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Ability to manage server environments like cPanel
- Familiarity with performance optimisation, security best practices, and SEO
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a keen eye for detail
- Bonus: Knowledge of WooCommerce and eCommerce integrations
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain bespoke WordPress themes with a strong understanding of core WordPress functionalities
- Develop backend solutions and integrations using PHP, Laravel, and MySQL
- Implement clean and efficient HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Work with GitHub for collaborative development and code management
- Ensure websites look and function perfectly across all devices and browsers
- Manage hosting environments like cPanel, troubleshoot server-related issues, and optimise website performance
- Work with RESTful APIs and third-party services to enhance website functionality
- Implement best practices for security, speed, and SEO
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently to maintain site stability and quality
Description
We are a large manufacturing organisation based near Brighouse, Yorkshire, looking for a highly motivated Full Stack Developer to join our growing technology team. Our company has consistently increased its turnover over the past five years, and we offer exciting projects that shape the online experience for our customers and trade partners.
