Requirements
Must:
- I am looking for candidates with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in full stack website design and development.
- Previous employer references will be required.
- I need proven expertise in building e-commerce shops from scratch, both front end and back end (portfolio is required).
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and conversion rate optimization is important.
- Candidates should be competent in creating detailed Excel and CSV files.
- Basic photography skills are necessary to create quality images of products for the website and online promotions.
- Proficiency in photo editing, preferably using Photoshop, is required.
- Experience working with automotive or performance aftermarket websites will be a strong advantage.
- I expect candidates to be able to work independently and manage multiple projects in an organized manner.
Responsibilities
- I will require you to design, develop, and build responsive, fast, and scalable e-commerce websites and eBay shops, preferably using Shopify and/or BigCommerce.
- Customizing themes, templates, and apps/plugins to meet our branding and functionality needs will be part of your role.
- You'll need to optimize website speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
- Integrating and managing product databases, payment gateways, shipping systems, and third-party tools will be your responsibility.
- Working closely with the Directors and our suppliers to bring new brands online is essential.
- You’ll troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly.
- I will need you to implement tracking, analytics, and conversion optimization strategies.
- Updating social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok will be expected.
- Identifying market trends and competitor activity to initiate tactical plans for our websites and social media platforms will be part of your tasks.
- Reporting performance analytics and insights will ensure transparency in operations.
- I will expect you to write engaging content and encourage positive customer reviews.
- Running Google ad campaigns to boost brand awareness and sales will also be part of your responsibilities.
Description
We are a family-run business located close to Blackburn and Preston, specializing in providing accessories to automotive enthusiasts throughout the UK and Europe. This role will primarily be based in the office, with some hybrid working options available, so you must be local to the area. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer sponsorship at this time.
