As a candidate for the Junior IT Support Analyst position, I am looking for someone who is enthusiastic, curious, and eager to learn. Previous customer service experience, even if not in IT, is important. If you have any commercial experience on a Service Desk or in Desktop Support, that would be a bonus. Familiarity with Windows 10 and Office 365 is desirable, along with strong verbal and written communication skills. A proactive attitude and a willingness to take ownership of issues are essential qualities I seek.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for IT support, delivering high-quality 1st line technical assistance to users across the business. Your key responsibilities will include providing 1st line support for all IT-related queries via phone, email, and in person. You will troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues across a range of devices and escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams when necessary. Maintaining clear communication with users to ensure a positive support experience, as well as documenting incidents and resolutions accurately in our ticketing system, will also be part of your duties.
