Requirements
Must:
- 4+ years within the industry
- Experience with PC hardware fault diagnosis and repair
- Competent in Windows 11
- Proficient in Office suite
- Printer repair experience
- Understanding of networking principles
- Skills in router and switch diagnosis
- Valid driving license (required)
- Over 21 due to vehicle insurance restrictions
Responsibilities
- Provide field-based IT support within the Cambridgeshire area
- Work face-to-face with customers to resolve IT issues
- Engage in hardware, networking, and software troubleshooting
- Collaborate with the helpdesk, 3rd line groups, and fellow engineers
- Assist the helpdesk in-house during the probation period
- Shadow experienced field engineers until ready to work independently
