Requirements
Must:
- Experience in training delivery and instructional design, ideally within a professional services environment.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and digital adoption strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong knowledge and experience training Microsoft Office 365 and the Microsoft modern workplace suite (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, etc).
- Experience with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia).
- CIPD Level 3 or above in Learning & Development (or equivalent experience).
- Training qualification (e.g., TAP, Train the Trainer), Microsoft Office Suite certification.
- Desirable: MOS qualified trainer or MCE.
- Desirable: Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals.
- Desirable: Project management certifications (e.g., PRINCE2 Foundation, Agile PM).
Responsibilities
- Consult with teams and department leaders to identify training requirements and skills gaps.
- Develop tailored training plans aligned with organisational goals.
- Test new software applications in collaboration with the IT team to ensure functionality and suitability, focusing on user needs and strategic alignment.
- Support the rollout of new applications across the organisation.
- Deliver classroom, virtual, and blended learning sessions on new software and digital tools.
- Document processes and maintain a central knowledge portal/library for system guides and standard operating procedures.
- Produce user-friendly guides, cheat sheets, and FAQs to support employee learning.
- Promote a culture of learning and knowledge sharing across the organisation.
- Play a central role in onboarding new employees by providing comprehensive training on systems, processes, and organisational requirements.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously update materials based on changes in technology, internal feedback, and best practice.
- Collaborate with HR, IT, and department leaders to ensure training supports compliance and operational efficiency.
- Deliver regular refresher training sessions for core systems.
- Schedule routine drop-in sessions or training surgeries to ensure employees can access the support they need.
- Maintain training records in partnership with HR and contribute to learning management systems.
